our festival centre and main venue will be the mandarin kasino in the heart of hamburg's amusement district st. pauli. this club, which is run by the mojo team, has been one of the key venues of hamburg's night life for years, but is has never hosted a film festival yet. do not expect a classical cinema atmosphere, but an audiovisual club space with several screens, comfortable couches and super-size cushions, bars and separées for cineastisc discussions. on friday and saturday at 11 pm we will remove the cushions to make place for the parties with djs and vjs.

the mandarin lounge is the place for behind-the-scene talks and special screenings for accreditated industry executives.

the feature films of our competitions and the pixar retrospective will be shown at cinema 3001 in the schanzenviertel.

the mobile video symposium will be hosted by the hamburg media school.
